These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CashOnPhone platform available at cashonphone.com and our mobile applications. Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Our Service

CashOnPhone provides a platform that allows individuals to sell their used electronic devices. We organise doorstep pickup by our field agents, inspect the device, and transfer the agreed payment directly to the seller. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of India to use our services. By using our platform, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.

3. Seller Responsibilities

  • You must be the rightful owner of any device you sell through our platform.
  • The device must not be reported stolen or involved in any legal dispute.
  • You must provide accurate information about the device's condition during the assessment.
  • Any device found to be stolen, fake, or misrepresented may be confiscated and reported to authorities.
  • You must provide a valid government-issued identity proof upon request.

4. Pricing and Valuation

The price quoted on our platform is an estimate based on the information you provide. The final offer is determined after physical inspection by our agent. You are under no obligation to accept the revised offer; if you decline, the device will be returned to you at no charge.

5. Payment

Payments are processed to the bank account or UPI ID you provide after successful inspection and acceptance of the final offer. Payment is typically processed within 24–48 business hours of confirmation. CashOnPhone is not liable for delays caused by your bank or payment provider.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel a scheduled pickup at any time before the agent arrives by contacting our support team. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in restrictions on future bookings.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Submit false or misleading information about a device.
  • Attempt to manipulate pricing through fraudulent means.
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of our platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CashOnPhone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the transaction value of the specific device sale in question.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the CashOnPhone platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of CashOnPhone or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
